Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode #55 (Human)
or
"Dwarfmons, Act 1: Rorec The Deity"

NOTE 1: On 4/04/2017, I completed a time attack of "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" and got a final time of 19 minutes and 1 second, playing as Scorpion on Medium difficulty at the Novice ladder. The newcomers are Jade, Kitana, Mileena*, Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac*, Classic Sub-Zero*, and Human Smoke*. * = secret characters. He has three special moves and two fatalities. Probably the hardest part of the first four fights was Jade (even on Novice!) due to her keeping her MK2 AI intact, instantly performing a projectile portal move the moment you do a projectile. The endurance round is pretty brutal too (for me it was Liu Kang and Robo-Smoke) due to having to beat two opponents on one life bar. Motaro is just as cheap as he was in MK3 (I don't even remember what I did to beat him), and Shao Kahn is even worse (I got lucky against him). As usual for the MK games, there are 60 seconds shaved off every time I perform a Fatality. Like in MK3 you get a really cool death scene, but unlike in MK3, you get a "Shao Kahn's Treasures" after beating the game. Depending on which tower you beat, you get one of several options, but I chose the Tournament Outcome, since that is what we all came for. There are no fancy pictures like in MK3, but you get some text explaining what happened to your character. "Scorpion is inadvertently released from his damnation in hell when Kahn's plan to overtake that realm goes awry. Free to roam Earth, Scorpion is enlisted by the emperor to aid him in his quest to destroy the chosen warriors. But his allegiance to Shao Kahn falters when he discovers one of the chosen warriors to be Sub-Zero. Scorpion has vowed to protect the former ninja as restitution for killing his brother. Shao Kahn finds himself the victim of his own scheme as Scorpion is forced to turn against him he destroys the emperor and the earth is returned to normal. Scorpion finds himself once again roaming the pits of hell, only to one day rise again..."

NOTE 2: On 5/10/2017, I completed a time attack of "Team Faust Games: Arena Fighters" and got a final time of 22 minutes and 2 seconds, playing as Fist Man (located under Heroes) on Hard 8, 100% life, infinite time per round, and normal game speed. It was played under "DLC Pack Patch 3". Fist Man is the main character of TFG, and he plays like a shoto in this game. Fist Man's main tactics include spamming LP Dragon Punch (QCB + Punch) when he's far away from his opponent, and doing two Hurricane Kicks (QCB + Kick), one in the air just before he lands, and one right after he lands to build meter quickly. Cross-Stitch and Synktron come down to spamming projectiles. "My power shooting is a stronger." Fist Man has no ending. P.S. Imported runs are NOT dead yet, I have a long backlog of built-in characters to play as.

This is the world of Sil Mum (129x129) in the year 315 with the Dwarfmons mod enabled. This plans to be a full conversion of Pokemon to the world of DF, featuring all 800+ species. At the time of this game log, only 650 of them are converted (now all 802 are). Go on Bulbapedia if you want to look up a Pokemon, I'm not going to flood this game log with descriptions of every single Pokemon. I'll be playing as a female Human for this one from The Tin Realms named "Anthath Sestarushan" (she is 27 years old). I went right into the game without bothering to randomize my needs, and she has extremely long hair, very low cheekbones, a narrow square chin, a convex nosebridge, extremely long eyebrows, aqua eyes, short ears, narrow head, clear voice, a narrow nose, chestnut hair, and brown skin. My starting weapon is a silver halberd, and I get a kenaf oincloth, a long rope reed skirt, a diggersby leather dress, a linen robe,a goat leather cap, skunk leather gloves, wool chausses and hemp sandals, and a samurott leather water-skin with three cups of water. My food is five remoraids. Like most DF games starting after 34.08, my first girl is to get stealth up as soon as possible. I'm in a room with four soliders and a lord. I talk to the hammerman and find out about some criminals: "A sprawling criminal organization has left our people living in fear.  They have a town called Silvertwists somewhere in The Royal Steppes." I respond with "Can you tell me the way to Silvertwists?" He responds with "Silvertwists is a short walk to the northeast. In 68, The Fellowship of Bristles of The Tin Realms founded Silvertwists." Talking to the lord reveals this order. "You must kill the human vampire Hiner Submergehum.  This night creature threatens our people with its very presence. This bloodsucking fiend has killed two hundred thirty-nine in his lust for murder! Our hopes travel with you." By the time I am hungry/thirsty, my ambusher skill is all the way at adapt. When night falls, I have to climb up a tree and sleep in it so the game doesn't spawn ten thousand pokemon while I am trying to sleep. I then see a stray Pignite, our first pokemon that we see in this game log. After the game, I discovered you can kill strays as long as you don't tell anybody about it. Anyway, after getting up to Accomplished Ambusher, I decide to work on my swimming skills while sneaking at the same time. Our first pokemon encounter is a bunch of Seakings. I attack one of them but it gets away. I am able to kill the second one, and the third one gets enraged when I go to attack it. One thing I need to mention is that when you go to make a figurine, you can now choose what you want to make instead of it being random, even if you have never seen it before. I choose to "let my mind wander" and it makes a bone figurine of a swalot. By this point I discover how weak my silver halberd really is, as it can't carve off body parts off of a Seaking, so this means I have to change my strategy slightly. Just then while I am killing Seakings, a female Panpour decides to join the fun. She is killed just as easily, then I resurface and run into a Jolteon. My Master Ambusher skills enable me to get behind it and attack it before it can do anything. "The jolteon breathes a glob of electricity! The spinning electricity misses you! The jolteon uses Thunder Wave! You hit by Thunder Wave!" What this does is cut your speed in half briefly. So I am forced to wait for an hour for it to go away. I then see three Watchogs and silently kill one of them. "The watchog uses Confuse Ray! You hit by Confuse Ray!" I go to a town and... "You topple the statue! You have been cursed by Rorec Berrydell!" By profaning The Abby of Seals, Rorec Berrydell has cursed us to prowl the night in search of blood. The humans and elves in this town are living in harmony together, which is surprising considering that they're both Dwarven enemies. I talked to a lady and saw at three friendly elven archers talking to each other as well. At the time of this game, I don't know how I'm cursed or what I am, but I'm not getting hungry and I don't need to sleep. I attack a Simipour but am unable to kill it. By this point I run into a group of normal Rattatas. Because they're so small, they die in about three turns after I make them bleed. I then see a Stoutland, run up to it, and start attacking it. Then this happens: "You silently bash the stoutland in the left front leg from behind with the shaft of your silver halberd, fracturing the bone! The stoutland collapses and falls to the ground from over-exertion. The stoutland gives in to pain." Under the eat menu is a new option called "Suck stoutland's stoutland blood". I choose it and... "You feed on the stoutland." That's right, for the first time ever in DF history, I became a vampire without having to kill (or even fight, for that matter) one beforehand. While I have unlimited stamina, this also means my strength and agility are tripled and capped out. If I have no enemies to feed on, I will die soon. I find a cave at night and encounter an Onix. I then come across a thin chieftain named Jal Loniki. He's sleeping, so I suck his blood and kill him. A slim human lasher then shows up, so I decide to fight her and kill her. I eventually come across a Yungoos, and since I need blood, I atack it but accidently kill it.. Then I come across a Meowstic and attack it, but I drain it of all blood before I can feed on it. Two Malamars show up and they go down too- "You have discovered a camp." Okay, time to kill some outlaws. I sneak into the camp and it turns out that they are asleep. I kill the bowman and the two macemen without being detected, followed by the boss. In a village, I tell several people about the fact I killed four outlaws. "Fanu Daubwealthy was slain.  The defenseless are safer from outlaws.  Thank you!" Before this, though, I hear this: "A great beast threatens to bring ruin upon our people.  Flewholes the Heart of Healing is in The Bald Steppe.  Seek this place if you hunt Irum Gillsoaked the Oceanic Crab of Fliers the primal Kyogre.  This vile fiend has killed twenty-one in its lust for murder!" I then see a book called "Do We Understand Mightyembraces?" "You read Do We Understand Mightyembraces?. The written portion consists of a 66 page guide entitled Do We Understand Mightyembraces?, authored by ThŒkut Glazedfocuses.  It concerns the forest retreat Mightyembraces.  The writing is completely serious.  Overall, the prose is not awful, but not very good either."

I want to invade a tomb but I get sidetracked by an ocean. In it are at least 4-5 Azumarills. There is an Aegislash guarding the tomb, so I kill it with ease. I then pick the lock and read a slab. "Woe unto any that disturb the resting place of Ipan Lastrettuco / The Law-giver is with Rorec Tikbolalcil but watches still." I find a bunch of dead human skeletons and wish I was a necromancer. The memorial says "In memory of Ipan Lastrettuco / Born 186 / Died peacefully in the year 262 / Law-giver of The Tin Realms, 242 to 262." The next thing I know, a mummy shows up and raises the dead. However, because I am a vampire, they are all netural to me. I then find a Flaffy just outside the second tomb. "You silently grab the flaaffy by the throat from behind with your right hand! The flaaffy cries. The flaaffy breathes a cloud of electricity! You place a chokehold on the flaaffy's throat with Your right hand!" I then try to feed on it but it dies before I can. Before leaving, I see a second tomb and enter that too. I pick the lock and see "Woe unto that distrucb the resting place of On Onrajonic / The Law-giver watches still." I find his mummy, kill him before he can curse me, then his memorial says "In Memory of On Onrajonic / Died Peacefully in the year 66 / Law-giver of The Tin Realms, 1 to 66." I'm not mentioning items I find because I forgot to use the new Adventurecraft mod or add any reaction to my game, so no Fireball Arrows for those of you that want it so badly. The third mummy I come across is named Otnge Ipombestra. One thing I noticed new to this version is that leather clothing can take damage if hit by attacks. I see three Clawitzers waiting for me across the ocean. I then find a group of Psyducks and kill them. A group of minuns are waiting for me but I only manage to kill two of them before the third flees. I find a group of sentrets, which provides me with some much-needed blood. After killing some goldeens, I come across a Skuntank who just stands there and waits for me to kill it. I went down to a cavern and saw a bowman who had just killed two Nosepass. So after escaping the cave, I get ambushed as I need food. This bowman will do just fine - I chokehold, strangle, and suck his blood. I then roundhouse kick him in the face to kill him. My next step on the overworld leads to me getting ambushed - "I must withdraw!" So much for that. I then went to "The Magician of Showers" and found an elf and goblin living together in perfect harmony, as well a a book called "Errors in The Farm". "You read Errors In The Farm. The written portion consists of a 100 page guide entitled Errors In the Farm, authored by Ithra Spearwealth. It concerns the hamlet Dwellingveiled.  Overall, the prose is amateurish at best." I am then ambushed in the next town by an Alligator Recruit but kill it. While I'm in town, I see some sewers and figure out how to get down there without having to find the grate. It's a bunch of Olm Men wielding blowguns. I am unable to fight them on dry land and have to fight them with my Great Swimmer skill. I am still able to kill 15 of them without taking any damage. Then I go up to fight the Olm Men and their blowgunners. The chief is also killed in one hit. I then find out I can shoot townspeople (not my own civilization's) without them caring - "You feel uneasy." It's a group of goblins! They are an axeman, hammerman, two macemen, and pikeman. I kill them, then see a Seismitoad fight a Mimikyu. The latter wins. I also run across another Mimikyu and kill it. Then I come across a flock of Stararvias. The four Stararvias bleed to death after their throats are sliced. I use AdvFort to try to mine and a Mimikyu shows up, so I grab and throw it across the mountains. "The mimikyu's head skids along the ground and the part collapses! The mimikyu's head skids along the ground, bruising the muscle! x3" This kills it. I then run into an Alolan Geodude (our first Alolan mon of this series). After killing it, I go to a town in the desert, where I come across a 1-year-old child but not much else. I then come across "The Perplexing Swords", which has two Dwarves in it as well as some elves. I then see a book named "The Composition For Students". "Written on the item is an essay entitled The Composition For Students, authored by Šzum Gorgebalanced.  It concerns the authoring of The Fatal Spring by the dwarf Šzum Gorgebalanced in Trussedsubtle in the late spring of 219.  The writing has a touch of melancholy yet it shows a hint of tenderness.  Overall, the prose is amateurish at best." I then come across another book named "Insensitive Start". "Written on the item is a short story entitled Insensitive Start, authored by Rura Sealgroove.  The work has no particular subject.  The writing is thoroughly mechanical.  Overall, the prose is not awful, but not very good either." Just as I'm leaving the building, I am ambushed by a female Bewear. "The bewear catches Your right hand with the bewear's left lower arm! The bewear locks Your right wrist with The bewear's left lower arm! You struggle in vain against the grip of the bewear's left lower arm on Your right hand. The bewear bends Your right hand with The bewear's left lower arm and the right wrist collapses! A ligament in the right wrist has been torn and a tendon has been torn!" This is the first time I've taken damage all game long. I am still able to kill her with the only damage taken being an injured right wrist. Then I attack a Kingler and kill it, but I'm thirsty. I can't find anybody to kill either... a Diggersby saves me. I grab its throat, chokehold it, strangle it once, then feed on it and kill it. I'm saved... for now. This is when I discover how dangerous a hitmonlee can really be in this game. Even the GAME is afraid of an evil region and shuts down to protect itself. Good thing I saved the game recently. I run into a Hitmontop and kill it in one hit, followed by an Exeggutor and four Beedrills as well as a Gardevoir. I find a fortress but it appears to be abandonded. While testing a new teleportation ability, I get to fight altered form Girtatina. I kill it, and teleport back to a tigerfish to escape the HFS area. I come across Xekbebro the male Bouffalant recruit in the desert. I don't know what he's doing here, but I decide to kill him. Inside a cave I encounter a Klink, a Cave Croc, two Alolan Digletts, and a normal diglett. Back in the overworld, it seems this cave belongs to some kobolds. I attack one and suck its blood. I then find another kobold to feed on followed by two Brelooms, which are easily killed by me. I also find a fortress that has dwarves and elves in it... as well as 45.5 pages (on the "what would you like to do?" screen for grabbing items) of books. I read some (but not all) of them, then get ambushed by a Giant Lion Recruit. I am able to make him give in to pain, then feed on it until it dies. A second giant lion ambushes me, but I kill it. I then see what happens if you chop a tree in a forest retreat, even though the game won't let you normally. "The gold throne strikes you in the left upper leg, bruising the muscle through the iron greaves!" "The platinum cabinet strikes you in the left hand and the injured part is crushed! An artery has been opened by the attack!" During the whole tree-collapsing saga, some funny lines happened. "I found myself dead." "I died. It was inevitable." "I heard that I died." "I died." This is extremely funny. "Pidgeots!" These two birds ambush us. I do this to one of them: "You slap the pidgeot in the first toe, right foot from the side with the flat of your steel Axe of Giants and the injured part explodes into gore! The force twists the right foot, tearing apart the muscle and bruising the bone and tearing apart the right knee's muscle and bruising the bone! An artery has been opened by the attack, many nerves have been severed, a ligament has been torn and a tendon has been torn! A ligament in the right knee has been torn and a tendon has been torn!" I am then ambushed by two Bewears. "You hack the bewear in the upper body with your steel Axe of Giants, tearing apart the muscle and tearing apart the right lung!" Then I see him try to use Take Down on me so I try to put up my shiel-

"The bewear cries. The bewear uses Take Down on you in the head and the injured part collapses! An artery has been opened by the attack! You have been struck down."

Game Over :(

Woah. I'll have to treat the Bewears as those Man-Eating Alligators from Wasteland. That was such a sad way to end the game. I had 205 kills. May "Anthath Conflictcaverns the Wispy Sparks of Rhyming" rest in peace...

NEXT TIME: It's a secret to everybody.
